Associate

Annie Wiese is an associate attorney serving clients in Wagenmaker & Oberly’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She assists the firm’s nonprofit clients in navigating legal disputes and addressing challenges that arise in furtherance of their organizational missions. Her Catholic faith informs her commitment to serving others, particularly through her interests in religious liberty and advocating for the protection of human life at all stages.

Annie earned her Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School. During law school, she served as the Student Body Representative to the Faculty Board on Athletics from 2024 to 2025 and as a teaching assistant to Professor Dan Lindley for his course on United States National Security Policymaking. She also interned with the Supreme Court Historical Society and the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office, where she worked at the Juvenile Justice Center.

Prior to law school, Annie earned her master’s degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Constitutional Studies. While at Notre Dame, she was a four-year member of the varsity women’s swimming and diving team. During her collegiate diving career, she was a two-time All-American, earned First Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors, was named to the All-ACC Academic Team, and received four consecutive varsity monograms. Her experience as a collegiate athlete helped shape her discipline, perseverance, and commitment to teamwork.

Outside of practicing law, Annie enjoys reading, exploring presidential and Supreme Court history, practicing yoga, staying active, teaching, spending time with friends, watching sports, and spending time at the beach.
