Tara Jacob

Tara Jacob is a paralegal who assists W&O clients in the Fundraising, Intellectual Property, and State Compliance and Tax practice groups. Serving nonprofits brings her great joy, as she provides administrative support from the paralegal role to help clients advance their missions. In the Federal Tax Practice Group, she regularly navigates the intricacies of communicating with the Internal Revenue Service to help effectively resolve exempt organization matters. Additionally, she regularly assists in maintaining state compliance for corporate annual reports and charitable solicitation.

Prior to joining Wagenmaker & Oberly in December 2020, Tara spent ten years working in the multi-family residential property management industry in Chicago. She loves hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Currently residing in downtown Chicago, Tara and her husband have three young children.
